Maunsell Geotechnical Services Ltd. (MGSL) was founded as a partnership in 1980, consolidating the expertise from the geotechnical group and other sections of its associated company, Maunsell Consultants Asia Ltd.

MGSL has steadily expanded with over 300 staff who carries out work both locally and throughout Asia, providing services in the fields of geology, soil and rock mechanics, hydrology, geotechnical, tunnel, underground excavation, civil and structural engineering. The company has undertaken feasibility studies, design and construction supervision on a wide range of projects encompassing foundations, slopeworks, site formation, roadwork, basement construction, reclamation, drainage and tunneling. Our clients include government, developers and contractors.

The extensive experience gained embraces many types of ground conditions and different construction techniques. The company is at the forefront of geotechnical engineering in Hong Kong and has made vital contributions to major engineering projects in Asia.
