Maunsell AECOM in the Community

Every year Maunsell participates in the Corporate & Employee Contribution Programme of the Community Chest.  Funds raised by the Community Chest are subvented to 141 member social welfare agencies under the Chest's umbrella. This year, we donate HK$218,000 (US$28,000) to the Chest.

We express our deepest sympathy to the hundreds of thousands of lives that were lost in the devastating earthquake and tsunamis in southern Asia and East Africa.

To help in raising the much needed fund, Maunsell/AECOM has established a matching fund program in which AECOM will match contributions from employees contributed on a dollar for dollar basis. The employees of Maunsell AECOM Group has successfully raised US$25,000.

In 2004, Maunsell donated HK$10,000 (US$1,300) to join the Green Power Hike - a hiking competition organized by "Green Power", a non-profit organization which promotes green lifestyle. The team completed the 25 km hike in 3 hrs 48 mins and came third in the competition. We will continue our participation in 2005.
