Metcalf & Eddy Ltd. has been awarded by Changsha Municipal Drainage Company (CMDC) a consultancy on Technical Assistance on the Institutional Development for CMDC which is part of the World Bank funded Hunan Urban Development Project.
The main objective of the Project is to strengthen the management of CMDC and assist the company to meeting the challenges of wastewater sector reform in Hunan province. M&E will assist CMDC in establishing as an autonomous and financially sustainable utility company that can effectively and efficiently meeting the service obligations set by the Changsha Municipal Government (CMG). M&E will also provide technical assistance for the CMG in reforming its mechanisms for the supervision and regulation of the CMDC.
